Trip therapy: Beyond the ego with psychedelics

The conscience

Humans consist of about 60 trillion cells. So that is 60,000,000,000,000 and we are not even talking about the 10,000 species of bacteria with their own population. If these cells are living factories in themselves that work together. Some of these cells are the brain cells. These brain cells work together with the other cells in the body. The specific configuration of the brain contains processes that lead us to believe that we are something about someone.

Consciousness makes life special (difficult)

Understanding that we exist gives us something extra in life in normal circumstances. These extras are fun, finding a purpose in life and other things that you can call positive. So it's very different from being like a robot and just living out your life without even realizing you exist. Yet the realization that we ourselves exist can also make us realize that we are not having fun. Sometimes it's our ego, the little voice in our head, that tells us to worry. Sometimes rightly so, but more often not rightly so. But luckily we are more than just that little voice in our head.

Ego death from psychedelics can help

Meditation and psychedelic ceremonies can go beyond the self-destructive thoughts of the ego. Even if the ego is very strong, ego death will set in thanks to a high dose of psychedelics. This high dose can offer a solution for self-destructive thoughts and a reset to think differently.
