Trip therapy: Psilohuasca or psilocybin?

Psilohuasca or psilocybin?

Psilocybin is so much safer than psilohuasca. Why would you take those MAO inhibitors if you can also take a little extra psilocybin?

Psilohuasca ceremony

During a psilohuasca ceremony you will receive psilocybin via magic mushrooms or truffles in combination with an MAO inhibitor. The MAO inhibitor then ensures that psilocybin and psilocin are broken down less quickly. This is the same idea as ayahuasca ceremonies. DMT from ayahuasca needs an MAO inhibitor because otherwise the DMT is immediately broken down. Psilocybin does not require a MAO inhibitor and is only used to require a lower dose.

MAO inhibitors are dangerous

The reason why ayahuasca and psilohuasca ceremonies are more dangerous than truffle ceremonies is precisely because of the MAO inhibitors. Many fatal cases of ayahuasca are precisely due to the combination of MAO inhibitors, wrong diet and medication use. Even old cheese can lead to brain damage when using MAO inhibitors that are in ayahuasca or psilohuasca.

It is also possible without MAO inhibitors!

We maintain that you have to make a conscious choice with everything you throw into your body. Why not opt for a truffle ceremony that uses psilocybin without the need for MAO inhibitors. To be honest, a deep trip on a high dose also works much better. Even hospitals and researchers choose psilocybin trips because of its effect and safety.
