The right way of strength training can stop the effects of depression at a cellular level and even induce recovery. Not every form of strength training is suitable. The activation of fast muscle fibers in particular provides rest against stress at the cellular level. Looking up the maximum strength, on the other hand, immediately lowers the score on depression tests.
