Legalize, regulate or enforce a complete ban?
National politics is still undecided and the political parties in Amsterdam are now debating whether MDMA should be regulated. Regulation could ensure safer use, but opponents say it could also increase use. The possible damage per person is getting smaller, but absolute numbers may be higher. Medicinal MDMA
Due to the many positive research results in which MDMA is used as a therapeutic tool, various countries will proceed to regulation. We expect that the United States of America will classify MDMA as a medication, making it available by prescription only. Dutch will probably go along with this later on MDMA assisted trauma/PTSD treatments to allow.
